Thank you for signing Mr. James Henry Barnes's Guestbook
I would like to share a comforting scripture from God's Word, the Bible with the family. Isaiah 41:10 says: "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! My deep condolences to the family of Henry Barnes,
Although,we have never met. I have lost loved ones to the pain of death. And I would like to share what helped me during those difficult times.
My family and friends surrounded me with their love. But my true comfort came from the gift that the Most High God gave to each and every one of us, his word the Bible. (Psalms 83:18 & 2Timothy 3:16), Notice please, how God's Son Jesus viewed death, as sleeping, making it so gentle. At John 11:11-14. God also gave us the assurance that there will be a resurrection (Acts 24:15), He tells us were the dead are and where they will be (Daniel 12:2 & Psalms 37: 11,29). This is a promise to look forward to.
May you be encouraged and comforted as you await the near blessing of seeing your loved one. Both of my parents fell alseep in death within two years of each other. I truly understand how you feel.
My deepest sympathy,
